Is the reason why my listings do not show up - because my brokerage is slow to put them into their system?

Dear Lisa, There are so many new avenues opening up all time where we can advertise our listings - we all have to step out of the box and try these new avenues. I found out about Trulia yesterday at a workshop and that is why I am in here right now. You are taking the right step - you have come in to Trulia on your own. Do like I am doing - I am trying to find where I put my listings. Good luck Sandra

Hi Lisa,

Please access the link below to find out more about how listings are submitted to Trulia. You can forward the information to your Realtor if they aren't familiar with the process.

Best Wishes,

Lisa, As the other 2 ladies answered, many Realtors don't yet know about Trulia and other websites that help to promote properties. I'm a bit confused, howdver, because you are in as a "buyer", so I'm not sure if you are also a "seller" wondering why your home for sale isn't listed?

Hello Lisa. Not all listings go automatically into the Trulia system and not all brokerages are posting their listings on Trulia yet. Trulia is still fairly new and it's just one of many search engines for real estate information. You should check with your brokerage to see if they have added Trulia yet to the sites that they advertise on. If they have not, just ask them to post your listing on Trulia. Don't assume that your brokerage is slow or not doing what they are supposed to do. There's so much new stuff offered to us all the time and one of the biggest challenges is to select what we want to implement in our marketing plan and what we don't. Nobody can be everywhere. Good luck to you.

Lisa,
Are you asking why your listing does not show up specifically on Trulia? If that is the case, please know that Trulia does automatically update their listings through the aggregated MLS or any other system. Your REALTOR must submit them manually and arrange for a "feed" to Trulia. Also, Trulia is a fairly new site, and there are many great agents who are still unaware of it. Please help us spread the word--tell your friends and your agent! Your REALTOR will likely thank you for the information!
