Trulia gets it feeds from the MLS - generated by agents. It does not show FSBO properties.

Sorry Henry.
Trulia receives data from LIST HUB...not the MLS.
Listhub is the first to change the data. Trula the suppress what they choose.

No. Trulia doesn't allow FSBO properties to be marketed on the site.

Andy Stewart,

Trulia posts agent listings to help get them sold. They only accept listings provided by agents. They do not list or post for sale by owner listings.

Hi Andy,

No. Trulia posts properties that are listed for sale with a Realtor. Trulia does not post For Sale By Owner properties.

There is a website that exclusively deals with properties that owners are selling themselves. Consider investigating

We would also recommend doing as much research as possible about selling homes. Even though historically, many more homes have been sold by their owners than by agents times have changed and the process can be both risky and challenging.

You will likely have may questions along the way. Having a reliable resource that can provide you with accurate information would be a big help.

Good luck,

Alan, you are probably a candidate for one of the discount brokers who work your area. You pay them a flat fee and they put your home listing in the mls. Most mls organizations have a syndication agreement with Trulia so your listing would then appear in Trulia and similar aggregators (Zillow, etc).

Google your home town name plus "flat fee" or "discount Broker" and give them a call.

No unfortunately it is not. They take feeds from MLS listings across the country.

Trulia lists properties from the MLS and not FSBO.
