Using Trulia in Rochester>Question Details

Cassandra, Home Buyer in Rochester, NY

I'd like the photos of the house I purchased recently removed. I have claimed the house, but do not see any way to remove the photos.

Asked by Cassandra, Rochester, NY Thu Oct 13, 2011

Can a staff member or moderator help me, please? It's a bit absurd that I have to go through these lengths to contact someone and request this.

Well, we contacted the sellers agent, who said the "photos came from Google", so it's clear she has no idea what she's doing. Moving on to contact Trulia directly. Thank you for that link to their contact form, I couldn't seem to find that anywhere before I posted this question. Have a wonderful weekend all.

Cassandra - Great answers below and I agree with them assuming that you have closed on the house. Congrats on your purchase.

Cassandra - Good advice below. I believ you have to contact the listing agent,as that's where the feed is coming from. I will report your question to Trulia & hopefully they can clarify.

Cassandra you need to ask the agent who posted the ad to edit the listing to remove them or take down the listing altogether, no one else can remove or edit the listing.

You would have to contact the agent who listed the property. They are in charge of the listing, so at this point since it has closed, you can ask them to delete the listing off of their Trulia account, not to just mark it as 'sold'. I don't believe anyone else can take the photos off since the agent is the one who posted them in the first place. Good luck!

If you have closed on the Home the best way is to have your agent contact the selling agent and have them remove the photos from the different sites they were listed on.
