I great place to look for rentals is Craigslist at http://craigslist.com and Yahoo Classified.

Roomster.net and Craigslist are two really good sites for homes and apartments to rent. Your local newspaper will also have a website for its classified ads of homes for rent.

If you are looking for rentals to buy as an investment. you will find them listed as homes on Trulia and all the other real estate listing sites. -- A single family home that is or was most recently owner occupied can usually be converted to a rental, and a previous rental home can usually be converted back to owner occupied by a new buyer, so the listing sites carry both kinds.
