Hi David, I think you were referring to registering at Trulia. You can create a trulia search and then request notifications. Good luck.

David,

Trulia has a limited search function where you can enter some basic specifications to begin a rudimentary search:
http://www.trulia.com/advanced/
Bear in mind, Trulia is an advertising site which will offer your information as a sales lead to agents.

For a more advanced, detailed search, like any good agent, I have a great advanced search function offering detailed specifications options on my site. And you never need to register or give up personal information to use that search function:

If you decide to use an agent's services to help you find a home, this brochure from the NC Real Estate Commission discusses various roles an agent may fill:

If you want to register w/ Trulia, that has been answered greatly below. If you are wanting to register on a particular agent's site, then you can also do that. You can register on both actually. Just because you go onto an agent's site does not mean you have to hire them. When you find the right match for you and yours, then you can follow the steps to hire the agent that fits your needs. My web site has a search properties tab, where you can enter your specific criteria and it will pull up matched houses. If you want homes sent to you on a regular basis, then you can connect with an agent of your choice, and they can personally set you up. You have a lot of options. If interested in my site, feel free to visit http://www.StarsRealty.org. Whichever route you take, I wish you well!

Hi David- As previously mentioned you should meet/talk or interview a realtor to make sure they are a good fit- knowledgeable, available, and have the tools to help you achiver your goal. I work with first time home buyers or well seasoned buyers and would love the opportunity to help you find your home here. I also have the means to help you get prequalified (before we start looking so you know how much house you can afford) as well as a number of other tools to help you along the way from home warranty to moving to contractors, etc.

You want to take advantage of having a good buyer's agent- you can visit our site http://www.andersond.hpw.com and view not ony what we can offer you but search our site to find what you're looking for.

Thanks and have a great day!

This site is a tool for buyers to reference their own areas and see homes in their price point. If you are a serous buyer, then you should contact a local real estate agent and give your specification to this person. They will have the most accurate and up to date information for you. They can guide you within your search area.

Good Luck!
