HI Wanda.
Yes, the #3 Express bus operated by the MTA line stops very close by. If you look at the map on the listing page, just follow Mosholu Ave along to your right a few short blocks till you get to the thick grey line. That is Broadway. The bus stops right on the corner. The Liberty Lines went out of business at least 5 years ago (!) but the MTA took over the route. As far as other ways of getting into the city, the local bus stops at the same corner, and within 5 minutes you are at the #1 westside subway line. The Bee Line bus stop there too but you can only take it north into Westchester there (across the street).
There is also a fabulous section of Van Cortlandt Park immediately to your west. That section has the playing fields, the stables, and the entrances to the great hiking and cross country running trails.

To answer your other questions, the maint fee is $1050/mo (estimnated as 40% taxe ded), and a parking space is $105/mo. I am not clear if there is a waiting list for the parking but there might be.

If you like ths Riverdale, please give me a call and I can arrange to show this and other nice 2BR listings under $200k to you.

Good luck in your search!

Sincerely,

You have a choice of two express buses run by Liberty Lines and the MTA. One (the BxM3) runs along Broadway and the other runs along Riverdale Ave. Both are within walking distance -- 10 minutes at the most. Your best bet would be to walk downhill and take the Broadway bus in the morning. In the evening, take the Riverdale bus so you can walk downhill again.

Here's the web site for the bus company's schedule. Scroll to the bottom for the Express routes.
