Just a quick question about road construction and neighborhoods. Do you feel that road construction & extended repairs effects property values ?

Some might have asked the same question of the "Big Dig", but I don't think many would question if property values increased following its completion. Well paved streets and well built sidewalks come at a cost both financial and intrinsic, however in the end I think its an investment that pays off.

Hi John,

Although extremely annoying and downright aggravating, the road work is not permanent and may even help your property value if the work being done will ultimately benefit your neighborhood.

It is a necessary evil, and without a good infrastructure property values will depreciate.
