I am proposing President McCormic of Rutgers Univ to extend Rutgers Campus to cover local communities populated with Rutgers students, staff and professors such as Society Hill, Edison Village, Blueberry Village ...etc. so that it would be much easier for all in the future ...

This google map of Route A probably shows much better from Busch Suite stop at Busch Campus across Rt 18 from Society Hill and to Scott Hall stop at College Ave Campus only 2 block to New Brunswick Train Station ... http://www.nextbus.com/googleMap/googleMap.jsp?a=rutgers&…

You can also take Route A to Scott Hall at College Av campus that is closer to train station http://www.nextbus.com/predictor/publicMap.shtml?a=rutgers&a… In general, you can also transfer at College Ave Student Center, and other routes such as EE has stop right at New Brunswick Train Station.

Across street (Rt 18) from Society Hill is Rutgers University Busch Campus, and at Student Center or even closer at Davidson Hall stop, you can ride free Rutgers Campus bus H route http://www.nextbus.com/predictor/publicMap.shtml?a=rutgers&a… to New Brunswick College Ave Campus and walk over to New Brunswick Train Station, or transfer another route over.

There are many Rutgers Univ students and professors living at Society Hill Piscataway, so you will find first hand info from your neighbor there as well ...

By the way, Piscataway township just pave a brand new bike route from Society Hill toward Edison Train Station, as you can click the "Street view" on the left http://www.google.com/maps?f=d&hl=en&geocode=1517873… bblock by block to see, and due to the Google street view is months old, currently Piscataway is expanding along Metlas Ln and Sutton Ln and you will see lots of difference, new road, sidewalk, bike route ...etc. It also bike pass the horse farm ...etc. nice view.

Taking back route is less traffic and much shorter as you can see ... http://www.google.com/maps?f=d&hl=en&geocode=1517873… However, it may still take more than 30 minutes to walk ... If you have a bike or Segway http://www.segway.com/ it will cut down to 10+ minutes, I guess.

Society Hill is very close to http://www.google.com/maps?f=d&hl=en&saddr=255+Central+Ave… Edison Train Station http://edisontrainstation.blogspot.com/ but not yet direct shuttle to train station yet ...

Unfortunately there is no way ,to my knowledge, to get from Piscataway / Society Hill to either the Edison or Dunellen train stations, unless you want to count taxis. This area is poor when it comes to buses. There is bus that goes from Vail/ W. Seventh at corner of Washington Ave. to New York City and Newark, but, how to get to the bus stop without driving is not really possible. I might be mistaken, better check the NJ Transit website for more information.
