I am considering purchasing a home in West Milford anbd would like to get an idea of what my options are for getting into NYC for work. Thanks.
Hey Armand,
I made it easy for you to check out the locations of the Park and Ride locations in West Milford. There are two, one in Newfoundland (which is part of West Milford proper) and the other in Hewitt (again part of West Milford proper). The Newfoundland park and ride is closer and I would recommend that one over Hewitt, but that all depends on where you would like to live and where you can afford to buy.
See the link below.
I also live in West Milford and if you would like additional info please don't hesitate to reach out to me if you like.
Good luck!

Hello Armand, there are a lot of people out their who still consider West Milford as a town that has no transportation. Well, they are wrong. I live and work in West Milford, so don't listen to people who say move to Wayne or anywhere else. If you need any information about West Milford email me at : sellyourhome@century21loidaclaudio.com. If you just moved into West Milford and would like a street map of our town, I will be more than happy to send you one.
Armand
There is a NJ transit (bus) park and ride in town. You can also take 23 South to route 46 east to route 3 or route 80 east. You can also go through ringwood to 208 to route 4 east to NYC.
Armand, you may be better off in Wayne, the park and ride is right there.
Armand, there is a park and ride in town that offers transportation to NYC. Depending on the congestion I've been in the city as quickly as 45mins in the morning by car. There are several options to travel besides Route 23 though, it would depend on where in West Milford you were looking to buy. Give me a call I'd be glad to help.
i live in West Milford Currently and your looking at a 90 minute commute into NYC, you can get up here via RT23, youc an also go to my site that has all this information
You can check out the websites of all the train and bus lines. You can also call the town hall and ask them what types of transportation residents use. There may also be a carpool service or some other type of private transportation.
Good Luck
