How bad is the drive from East Cobb (corner of Lower Roswell & Johnson Ferry) to the Perimeter Area? (My wife

and I currently live and work in the Perimeter area) The only road I see that connects them is J'Ferry and it doesn't seem to be easy to get to the interstate. The river cuts everything off.

We would love to buy something in this area, but can't seem to find anything in our price range that has decent schools (Dunwoody, Sandy Springs, Chamblee)

My current commute is 1.5 miles, my wife's is 2.25 miles. It's very hard to consider giving up such a great commute but we have been renting the last 5 years.

Prices for homes will really tank in 2010 along with rent rates. Need anymore reasons to rent for the next few years? How about the fact that taxes on property will be going up faster than rent rates making homeowners big time losers.

It won't be like your current commute but it won't be bad. You'll learn the best routes soon enough.
