Are there any major traffic problems in San Anselmo?

If so, can you tell me where (major streets/commuting paths)?

All of these answers are accurate. Mornings are fine, if you leave before 7:35 or after 9:30. Evenings on Sir Francis Drake can be slow, but you can also sneak through Ross via Kent Ave or Laurel Grove. These options are not a whole lot faster, but they can keep you moving.

The bike path is a great commuting path. This runs through the heart of San Anselmo, and heading east can take you directly to the ferry terminal in Larkspur or south across the Golden Gate Bridge.

The more adventorous can head over Mount Tam on bike, horse or foot.

Sir Francis Drake Blvd is a major east-west artery, and it can become crowded espically during the moring commute (between 7:30 and 9:00 AM). If you can travel before 7:30 or after 9:00AM is is much easier.

There is the morning traffic throughout the corridor of Sir Francis Drake Blvd. and Center Rd. heading towards San Rafael. Timing one's commute around the school hours is advised.

FIRST ANSWER

The Sleepy Hallow neighborhood has larger lots, but only one entrance, so it can be slower to get into & out of duryhuhy
