Are there any major traffic problems in Singer Island?

Asked by Stephan, San Francisco, CA Mon Apr 23, 2007

If so, can you tell me where (major streets/commuting paths)?

Intra coastal bridge traffic can create issues from time to time but there is another avenue to exit the island by traveling north to US 1.

There are no current traffic problems on Singer Island. The Blue Heron Bridge brings one on to the island's south end and is a high fixed bridge easily accomodating the flow of traffic on to the island. If you approach from the North End, or PGA Blvd. or US 1, you wind your way through the beautiful Macarthur State Park and wind up at the north end featuring the oceanfront condos like Water Glades, Dunes Towers, Seagrape, Eastpointe, etc. You are now driving on North Ocean Drive, a beautiful road that runs parallel to the ocean and the intracoastal waterway.
