To give you some insight where to get your info...
a) as far as the water quality is concerned - each village usually has a once a year water quality report, so contact them and ask for a copy of it.....
b) once you are decided to buy a property during the inspection process you can have the water quality checked..... once you live there, most villages will come out from time to time to check the water quality, plus you can always install a good water filtration system, there are many different ones in the market
c) what is close to where you intend to buy, once you narrow down a village, subdivision, or neighborhood, put one of the addresses into google, and then add shopping center etc. and see what pops up, usually when you search for a hotel on google map, it also shows other information around the area.....
and if and when --- and I hope you will use the expert services of an experienced Buyers Agent,
