Yeah, around $10,000 but you know every property is it's own story. If you haven't bought and are concerned buy one where the well is in or talk to the neighbors they usually have a lot of info. Any numbers would be a guess. When you find the land you can get much more info. We can help on the real estate side if you need anything feel free to call or check out our website. 509-362-1966
Hi Tara,
Thanks for your question! I hate to sound vague but, as the other agents have mentioned it varies a great deal on location, depth, type of rock, soil, etc. I would be happy to give you the names of a couple of good companies I have used in the past as referrals for you. Also, you can go to Spokane County.gov website and look for well log reports in the area you are thinking about, this is very useful and informative. It will give you an idea of what you might expect for your potential property if an adjacent property has their well log info posted. Please feel free to contact me at the website listed below for anything I can help you with. Best of wishes and take care! Most Sincerely, Chris Warmuth of Windermere/North Spokane, WA.
Depends on location, depth, size of well, etc., etc., etc. I've seen wells as deep as 600' and some as shallow as 90'. Some wells that produce small quantities of water have 3,000 gallon holding tanks. The best thing to do is start with a Realtor that can lead you in the right direction. I would be happy to help and I would gladly recommend a drilling company to do an evaluation.
Tara,
One other thing to think about...there are areas in Spokane that are hit and miss for water supply. I have had clients that were unable to hit any water at all and have had to truck their water in. You may want to speak with neighboring land owners to find out information about their water supply (how deep they had to dig and what the GPM is for their well). Also, most of the local companies that dig wells have a great idea about the water situation in Spokane and the surrounding areas...a simple phone call to them would probably yield a ton of answers! Let me know if you would like some names and numbers of reputable companies to assist you.
Tara,
It would be hard to give you a set or specific price as really the best thing you could do would be to get estimates. The cost of a well depends on the size and depth of the well as well as the drilling conditions of the site. In order to provide accurate bids a site visit by a drilling representative is required. The average well costs around up to $10,000. On the average I see them range anywhere from 8-10,000
