Thanks!
Hello Dottie - This information is available to you at the Court House in Doylestown. Also - Realtors
have access 'on-line' to this type of information. If you meet with your Realtor, they can bring up
the statistics for you in their office.

Hi Dottie,
There are many aspects to real estate statistics. Time frame, type of house sold (SF vs. Multi), etc. Going to the public sites can help, but keep in mind that many transactions are not posted as they are sold either by owner, or never "listed" and simply sold from agent to agent connection. Additionally, some just change hands for the valuable consideration of $1.00. So you will need to account for margin of error. If you are looking for a particular value in a particular neighborhood within Doylestown, Ior something more general, I'd be happy to help you. I run statistics all the time for my clients and my newsletter, and I can tailor it for your intentions so you have a very good picture of exactly the information you are looking for. This is a no-obligation service I provide. Education is power for buyers.
Please let me know if I can help you. In the alternative, I can send you my latest statistics, and those for 2007 if you wish.
Respectfully,
There are numerous answers to this question. Home search functions have improved dramatically over time. You can get estimates on sites like Zillow but they can be off by tens of thousands of dollars. Nothing is better than getting a price comparison done by a qualified agent. Our local MLS is very close to including SOLD data on most agent websites but that is still a few months off. Price comarisons can still be derived from active properties and time on the market. Feel free to start your search at http://www.SearchBucksMont.com. All homes are updated daily and you can even save your own searches.
If you are looking to buy a house you should sign up with a buyer's agent who can give you all the information you are looking for. It is the easiest way to find out statistics. You can look up available listings on my web site. You can go to the court house to find out what sellers paid if you are buying sale by owner. I work in Central Bucks area.If you look up some sites the information may not be accurate as there may be sellers assist and the sale price may not reflect it.
Dottie,
You can always check http://www.zillow.com, they may not have all the data but it's a good start, Also your court house is always a resouce or simply contact a realtor to provide you with detailed information such as price and market history of the property . If you need help with no obligation do not hesitate to email me. Have a great day.
Hi Dottie
A Realtor truly would be your best bet. The other option you have is to go to the County Courthouse and look up public records.

The best information would be from a REALTOR and they would access the sold homes in the area which were listed in the MLS. Privately sold homes would be shown in public records and can be seen by REALTORs as soon as they are through the recording process. If you are looking for those sold prices to price your own home you really should get with a REALTOR so they could give you a range of what your home is worth. Or you could even get an actual appraisal done.
If you wish, I could give you a Comparable Market Analysis of your home, just give me a call.
I hope that helps.
