Hello Steve,

I've assembled a grouping of neighborhood videos made available by TurnHere on my website. Feel free to check them out at http://www.davidjedwards.com/neighborhood-videos.asp.

A great site is http://www.VRSeattle.com They have over 1200 videos of Seattle and several hundred more for other areas in Washington. You'll need Quicktime installed to view the footage. It's the work of a local photographer, Bradford Bohonus.

Google is actually starting to do this through their Maps application called Street View. The link given is to an overview of it. click the 'Go to Street View' and you'll see what cities they have so far.
However, it's not even video..it's a series of still shots.

What you're asking for...video of neighborhoods, ....on a nationwide scale is a monumental task. It'll probably happen at some point, but I'm not aware of a Seattle company that has anything of use right now. If someone knows, ..I'd love to hear about it.

HI Steve. There are websites that cover some individual neighborhoods, but there's no website that has a collection of neighborhood video across the nation. I am sure someone has thought of that before, but there are some privacy issues that may prevent implementation of the idea. Lots of people would probably not agree to have their pictures on the web and it's just a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Below are a few links that I found just by googling "neighborhood videos"

queens.about.com/b/a/217412.htm
www.dreamtown.com/videos/index.jsp

I have not looked at this sites myself.
Best regards,
