Hi Shane.....

All of the major real estate brokerages in the twin cites area have dropped thier utilization of print media to advertise Open Houses. Too costly and readership has dropped, hence the best and most concise place for you to find them will be on one of the brokerage's websites. May I suggest
It is known for it's ease of use and up to date info!

Thanks, Todd Norsted

I have had a lot of traffic at my opens from buyers who saw the open house ad on Craigslist but as Aaron said has our opens and also the reciprocity brokers. Watch out for sites that make you register to see the information, they could try to sell you as a lead to an agent for a fee.
I wouldn't bother looking at a paper, most opens will not be there.

Most agents no longer pay to put open houses in the Sunday paper... it is ridiculously expensive & most buyers are looking online.

About 18 months ago the local Realtor association (RMLS) set up a system for agents to list their open houses online & to have that available via Broker Reciprocity, which means that any agent can list open houses for all agents that are having them.

Not all brokers have taken advantage of this tool, but has it, as do many others.

I would also suggest you take a read at this blog post I made as to why you might not want to go to open houses:…
