I am struggling with contact management using the Mac. Top Producer Company offers management services; however, they are not fully compatible with the Mac. Are there other companies offering effective contact management services for real estate that work efficiently with the Mac.
If this is something you would like built seamlessly into your website, there are several good tech options for that. It depends on if you want a Web-based solution or a desktop contact management system. If desktop, the previous answers offered great advice.
Gayle, if you haven't bought something yet, check out Wise Agent. It works great with our Mac. It's online and you can use it with up to 3 people for only $25 a month. I work with my husband and an assistant, so it's perfect for us. There is also a program for Macs that is very intuitive. Gary David Hall (google his name) sells it. I think it's RESPOND or REST, can't remember which. I researched CRMs before stumbling on Wise Agent and we love it! We found it at NAR after someone else told us about it. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.

Gayle, outlooks is available as a web-based program, fully compatible with Mac OSX. Otherwise, have you considered Entourage, which is Apple's kinda-version of Outlook.
Top Producer (an expensive option) is also available as a web-based program... which should (I've never tried it) work online with Mac.
Gayle,
Many so called "online" programs are still not Mac compatible. They are set up to work with IE. Using a Mac for Real Estate is frankly the best way to go. Congrats on going that direction. The best contact management system designed specifically for the Mac is R.E.S.T. It is designed using Filemaker so it is a relationship d.b. and is beautifully laid out and simple on the start up, which is one of the reason we use Macs.
R.eal E.state. S.uccess T.ools has fully integrated with all your existing programs including mail. I think you will love it. Email Karen Hardy to find out more khardy@realestatesuccesstools.com.

Top producer is pretty much an online application now. That should make is cross-platform, just depends on what browser you are using. If you are only using Safari, try out Firefox and see if all features are supported. You can download the Mac version from this link: http://www.mozilla.com/products/download.html?product=firefo
Or, pick the version you want from the list on this page: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html
In all honesty, I do not look to a Mac for business related tasks but anything that is web based should work no matter what operating system you use. On another note, I do hear that the address book that is built into the Mac is fairly adequate.
