He is incredibly thorough. I've used him numerous times. Janice Roosevelt, Ecobroker, ABR, e-PRO jroosevelt@kw.com 610-76403962
I've been selling for 15 years in the area and I would recommend Joseph Schwab (610-690-2690 or 302-322-5577). Extremely thorough, friendly, gives recommendations. One of the best.
Hi. I am biased since I am a home inspector that covers that area (also a member of ASHI). PA does not require ASHI membership (you may belong to any national association). There is also no licensing here, so look carefully and interview your inspectors.
I have posted before a blog I did on questions and iformation that may be helpful in considering which inspector to hire. It can be found here: http://www.merchantcircle.com/blogs/Sherlock.Homes.Inspectio
If you have any questions, I would be happy to help in any way I can. Please don't hesitate to call.
Best wishes,

Your Realtor should be able to recommend a good local home inspector. Any inspector you use, make sure that they meet the requirements fo the contract. Some states will dictate that home inspectors be certifed by ASHI.
Virginia,
While I don't have a specific inspector in mind, have you gone to http://www.ashi.org, entered your zip, and checked out any of those inspectors? I'd always suggest you use an inspector who is a member of ASHI.
