Did you know that www.realtor.com may have a gliche in displaying the number of half baths from your listings in MLS?

Asked by Brenda Feria, 23233 Wed Sep 1, 2010

Some MLS systems count half baths. Ex. 2 Full and 1 half baths is shown as 2.1 baths. Realtor.com uses .5 for a half bath. Ex. 2.5 baths. That means if someone is searching for 2.5 half baths in the price range and location of your listing on realtor.com, your listing may not show up.

Yes, Brenda, I did know that. And in addition, I had a listing with two half baths and two full and it listed it as three. My client was quite upset with me. I did get a hold of someone and this was quite some time ago, so I don't remember exactly what they said, but yes, it was explained as a glitch of some sort.
