I'm looking at a small business there, and the possibility of buying a condo/townhome. Here in Nashville, there is a public version of the MLS, and the private which we Real-it-ters use, realtracs.com, and realtracs.net.
Yes, there is a site where you can search the MLS. Go here: http://www.sira.org/findprop.html
Of course, I would be happy to assist you with any homebuying needs you may have.
Take care,
Kathy

Hi Lee,
While Realtor.com still has a huge volume of traffic, I have noticed consumer interest growing in favor of alternatives. Try Trulia, of course!
Many MLSs provide information about real estate, and provide access to the MLS database with a consumer report format of the properties available. I usually try to find the local MLS of an area tracking it down through the state association. That attempt failed. Indiana Association of Realtors does not provide their contact info on their site, and their site is for members only. The Indiana Association of Realtors has not created any consumer help (not even a phone number) in support of their members, referring Realtors from outside of the area, or the general public. :(
Here is the contact info: The State Association of Realtors should be able to refer you to the local MLS and association offices for Jeffersonville, IN.

As a RE Pro, you know you can also find listings via agent and broker sites via the IDX listings.

Hi Lee: I would just go to http://www.realtor.com and then call a local realtor there. Good luck! Best, Mark
