There are many options NJ Transit has buses that run on Teaneck Rd both local & Express and one that runs on Queen and Rd to Port Authority in Midtown. Check www.njtransit.com.
Teaneck is a bedroom community to New York as it many of the towns that border it.
Russo Real Estate
I am a longtime resident of Teaneck as well as a 30-year realtor. Teaneck has a number of options, depending on where you live and what part of Manhatten you need to get to. The best way is using the NJ Transit Bus system (www.njtransit.com) for the bus options along various busy streets. For instance, #167 and #168 operate on Queen Anne Road, #168 operates also on Teaneck Road, etc. There are also bus lines on Cedar Lane, River Road, West Englewood Avenue, DeGraw Avenue and several others along Route 4 going into the GW Bridge bus station in upper Manhatten.
If you are going to lower Manhatten in the Wall St Area, you can either take the bus into midtown (Port Authority bus station) and take the subway downtown, or you can go over to Hackensack and take the NJ Transit train (Pascack Valley line on the same website) to Hoboken to switch to the PATH train to NYC.
