One of the best kept secrets is to take a leisurely ride on the Staten Island Ferry - one of the few FREE things in NYC and great views of the harbor. Don't forget your camera. ;)

You must check out the Brooklyn Bridge Park.

You'll find so much to do there such as bike riding, the carousel, Beach Volley, kayaking, fine dining under the Brooklyn Bridge, BBQ's, picnics, etc. And you can watch the fireworks from there too!!!
AMAZING!! It feels like you're somewhere other than NYC when you are there. I try to get down there at least once a weekend in the summer!! Good luck!

Stand on the edge of the island or get on the tallest building you can find!

Start the day with the Ultimate Brooklyn Tradition...Nathan's famous hot dog eating contest at Coney Island.

At night the Macy's 4th of July Fireworks at 9PM

This 4th of July, the nation’s largest patriotic pyrotechnic display will illuminate the night sky over New York City as the 37th annual Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks rumble to life.

During the day there are many great beaches in NYC and Brooklyn including Coney Island.

Happy 4th of July
