The nearest hospital to Murphys is in the next county over, and even with that, it's a good thirty minute drive with no traffic. At least it has maternity services. The hospital in Calaveras County--supposedly a Catholic hospital-- no longer offers maternity services and has no plans to. This may or may not be important to you. The hospital in Calaveras County is also about a thirty minute drive from Murphys.

Hi! Mark Twain St. Josephs in San Andreas is a wonderful hospital. I had my second son there. It was a wonderful experience. The staff is wonderful.

Hi - We have excellent Medical Care here in Angels Camp/Murphys area......Aside from very good quality walk-in clinics in Angels Camp there are two hospitals very close by. One, the Sonora General is only a couple of years old and specializes in Cancer care and Cardiac care.....But we don' t have a Home Depot.......Yet!

The only hospital in Calaveras County is Mark Twain/ St. Joseph Hospital in San Andreas approximately 20-30 minutes away. Tuolumne General is in Sonora and about the same distance.
