It is all subjective on what your needs and beliefs are. Pick any 1 Realtor and work with them only.

I think anytime you live near something that is enough of an issue that you have to ask about it so will a potential buyer. I realize that many people live near power lines or landfills but if there is something else available I would sure choose that over a home that might have resale problems in the future.

I agreed with Connie that its a matter of your perference. Its like whether you want to live next to a busy street or cemetery.

There are both have certain level to affect the value of the home but there are people who live there so you just need to find out if you can accept whether or not you see yourself living there. I would recommend working with an agent to show you the interior to see how much you like it. If you are still very interested in the home, then you can do a few drive by in different hours to see if you actually can see yourself living there. There is my best recommendation for you.

It's a matter of personal preference. I had a listing that backed right up to the landfill. Of all the feedback from showings, maybe 10% commented negatively about the location. I also had a few positive comments because there was a greenbelt behind the house that separated the landfill from the neighborhood.

At the end of the day, when the wind is blowing in a certain direction, it does not matter if you are right next to it, or a half mile away.

Bottom line if there were an issue in home sales builders / city would not allow residences be in that area. Most don't realize that it is there.

IF you have concerns purchase in another area of Carrollton. Coppell is not far from this particular location many other cities.
