The public transportation here in MA is not the same as NY NY.
The best way to find your answer is to consult the MBTA website.
There is a place for you to put in a starting point and a destination.
Look on the left middle of the page where it says Rider Tools

From the property you're looking at on 41 Davis Ave in Norwood, you are about a 5 min drive (15 min walk) to the Windsor Gardens Commuter Rail MBTA station, which will take you into to South Station on the Red Line. You'd also be a 5 minute walk from the 34E bus, which goes all the way to Forest Hills MBTA Station on the Orange Line. You can use to find info on all the routes. Good luck!
