What about that block of building behind Aces? What's up with that? Any chance it will be redeveloped into something? It actually has some parking adjacent doesn't it? Seems a waste it's just sitting there empty.

I heard that they are going into the bottom floor of "another" Kirkwood real estate office. I think that Thumbs-Up will be a great addition to the Kirkwood dining scene....I can already see the patrons lining up outside for weekend breakfast!

BoBridgeport Brokers has been entertaining placement of Thumbs Up Diner in the lower portion of their building. However, nothing has been set to paper yet. Another restuarant is also looking at the space as well. Yes, Bo Bridgeport is the ONLY real estate brokerage in Kirkwood that has close to ample off street parking to accomodate restaurant as well as real estate business. Of course all will be welcome! :)

Greenville, SC is nice! Was recently there with the family - what a dowtown and riverfront!
Always great food are Ria's! Dont' forget about Stone Soup Kitchen on Woodward, Solstice Cafe on Boulevard and the Lamplighter on Memorial - all good eats hear in Grant Park.

But, back to the question... now that we know where it's going to be located (Thanks Sean), now we just need to find out when.... Especially as my new office is located in Kirkwood ;-)

Ramiro,

I am in Greenville, SC DJ'ing my 25th high school reunion tomorrow night.

I've attended over 1000 concerts since 1975.

I ain't afraid of crowds and Mammy's Kitchen is filled most mornings. Worth the trip.

And if you haven't been to Miss Ann's then you really shoud just stay over there in Grant Park and eat at Ria's, cause her breakfast is best in the city. With major props to Cafe' 458.

And Lotta Frutta is just plain cool, if you haven't hit that yet.

Lisa, Lisa, Lisa - what secret internet potions are you brewing?

Afraid of crowds like I'm afraid of rockin' some Michael Jackson tomorrow night.

Good info Sean!
Lisa: hows's the Kirwood web-site coming along?
Lee: Being in Real Estate, I would think one would not be afraid of crowds ... ;-) Hope all is well.

I have three floors at Rootdown World Headquarters, and a 6 acre private park.

I also avoid the crowds at TU and prefer to eat at Mammy's Kitchen.

Think about it...there is only one other Brokerage in Kirkwood besides us with two floors. LOL!

Yum. :)

Sean, what are the initials of the "other" brokerage where they're going? BBB? ATIN? I can't think of anyone with a bottom floor where you could put a restaurant.
