Hi Christina,

You've picked my favorite City/Town in the Bay Area, Portola Valley. My family dates back over 100 years in Portola Valley and we're one of the founding families having now gone through 3 generations of Realtors. To simply answer your question above, Grove Dr is in a nice location right off of Portola Road. You can walk, bike or take a quick drive to the beautiful and newly built Town Center were the Library is, Tennis Courts, Basketball Courts, Soccer Field, Baseball Field and a very dog friendly place. This location also offers quick access to some of the best hiking and biking trials off of Alpine Road, Windy Hill being one of them. Retail shops are within a half mile as well where you'll find one of my favorite restaurants Parkside Grill, as well as a Dry Cleaners, Robert's Market for grocery shopping, a small and quaint Gym and a Texaco Gas Station.

Please, feel free to reach out anytime and I'll be happy to assist you with anymore questions you may have.

Best regards,

I just saw this question. Within about 1/2 mile, you'll find a library, 1 restaurant, 2 Protestant churches. PV is a rural community and many of the services you ask about require visits to nearby or adjacent communities. Generally, most homes are on land parcels with a minimum size of 1 acre. There are bridle trails, some horse boarding & training facilities, a lovely senior community for permanent long-term residents, and a few small businesses. Other services are available within about 5 miles.
