If you are talking the main hosp. complex in East Baltimore it is probably about 4 miles on heavily trafficked streets. It can be a chore at most times. You have much better choices regarding high end water oriented housing in Harbor East, Fells Point and Canton. From there it is a straight shot to Hopkins without battling traffic through the middle of town. Besides, many people think these neighborhoods have more characer and better choices regarding nightlife and dining. If you would like me to assist I would be pleased to help. I'm a Baltimore resident for 45 years and know every area of the downtown and surroiunding neighborhoods.
