Siesta Key has alot of shops, restaurants, bars, night clubs, but does not have a major supermarket. so you have everything else but when you want to go to the supermarket you must go off the island and 1 is located just off the island 5 minute drive

Siesta Key shopping has the usual tourist attraction shops. I would highly recommend a visit to St. Armands Circle- famous for its first rate shops and boutiques—which is adjacent to Longboat Key on the South end.

except for going to the Supermarket Siesta Key has everything else for you and if for some reason it does not right over the northend bridge is Sax, Macy, the list goes on

Seriously, within a short drive, the area has it all.

The "Eckler Team"

There is fine shopping on Siesta Key and for more of an international flair you can easily commute to St. Armands Circle or to the Ellenton Outlet Mall. There are lots of good restaurants wtihin walking distance.

Most shopping is located in Sarasota which is within just a few minutes of Siesta Key. Westfield's Southgate mall and Sarasota Square Mall is with a short drive. If you want to shop on Siesta Key you can do so in the village or near the south end just south of Stickney Point road.

Siesta Key is located along the Gulf Coast of Florida in the city of Sarasota. Shopping in both Siesta Key and Sarasota provide visitors with the best variety of local shops with national retailers. The Village, in the heart of Siesta Key, has outdoor restuarants, ice cream parlors, nightlife and local retailers, making it a great destination site while visiting the city.
