Deerfield Beach is great for shopping. I'll start ith coffee shops: my favorite is the 'Bad Ass Coffee Shop', located on southwest corner of Hillsboro and Powerline Road. It is a great place to meet friends and talk, relax and read or work on your computer -- (try the danish), and there are a variety of coffees. I also recommend the coffee shop in Books A Million. There you can read magazines, books, newspapers and sip your cappuccino, espresso, frappes, anything you desire. I prefer the Publix on the southwest corner of Lyons and Hillsboro for easy access and quality of fruits/vegetabls. There is a good farmer's market on Hillsboro right beside Constitution Park on the north side of Hillsboro (in front of Deer Creek Country Club). There is an excellent fish store further down Hillsboro Blvd., I believe on the north side (towards Dixie Hwy.) called 'Pop's Fish Market', highly recommended by anyone who has tried it. The best souvenir shop is near the beach, take Hillsboro to the end, go left (north) as you near the corner there is a shop on the right --- it has everything --- swimming gear, beach towels, chairs, prices are very good.
