Community Meetings Planned on Attendance Boundary Changes for Eight Elementary Schools

Following an assessment of current and future student housing needs across the county, staff in the Office of Facilities Services is recommending changes in school attendance boundaries for eight elementary schools. Small portions of attendance areas will be affected by proposed changes, involving from as many as 74 students to as few as 50. Details indicating what communities are affected are posted on the individual school sites. Parents with questions or comments about the proposed boundaries should contact Lionel White in the Office of Facilities Services at 703.791.7312.
A public hearing will be held at 7 p.m. on June 13 during the School Board meeting scheduled for that evening in the School Board Meeting Room at the Kelly Leadership Center.
