Mayra is dreaming - Lusk has a constant population of 1,500 people. High quality highways connect the community to Casper and Cheyenne, the two largest towns in Wyoming. It may be in the middle of nowhere, but the people and the town are a hidden treasure.

Tourists headed for South Dakota or Devil's Tower frequent the town each summer, and whether or not this is a positive, the Wyoming Women's Prison is on the outskirts of town, employing many locals. Ranches and rangeland surround this little town.

Great sunsets, great golf course, and some really great people. Two of my brothers live there, and they have found a little bit of peace among all of the commotion that surrounds us.

This is not even remotely close to Lusk. This property is located NW of Aladdin (pop. 15) and 22 miles from Sundance. Access to this property is provided via well-maintained state highway 24, and about 2 miles of gravel road. County-maintained. This property is unrealistically overpriced. The house is a pole barn, after all, and for the acreage, it's just too much money. My personal opinion is that (based on the pictures), the original owners spent way too much on upgrades, because at the end of the day, it's still a pole barn.

275 people live year round in the area. Not much market opportunity to resale. Isolated and no access through winter. Trully a weekend retreat in the middle of nowhere.

How far is the Catholic Church in the area? Does it have heating and cooling? Can you fish on the lake? After the home is fixed up or renovated, how well would it serve as a rental home? I know it is not too far from Custer South Dakota ( where we have friends) and our friends told us that IF you can find a motel/hotel room in the summer it would be very expensive because of all the tourists that visit during that season, which is partly why I am asking about the rental.
