As you now know the school info and reports are available online on the city and county websites, there are links from my site. Living on the beach is a dream come true, My office iright down the street from Spanish River High the Sharks is right up the street, they have great sports programs and all Boca shcools are A rated. As a former Football All Star i have been asked to run a clinic for the East Boca youth tackle football league by the director. There are 2 other very good high schools about 12 miles west of the beach, West Boca High and Olympic Heights is a large school with alot of programs. Parkland is even farther out west so if yer looking for the beach stick to the East Boca schools, There is also high curriculum private schools nearbye like American Heritage. I just sold a unit at the beach so i know the area and buildings well, 20 yrs experience, Presidents Club awards. We are a full service company with Title, Mortgage, Insurance services and a new FREE concierge service to assist with anything regarding a new property, untility turn ons, plumbers, home warranty, movers, etc,,, I will be happy to assist you and welcome you to Boca Raton.

as a proud Gator mom I recomend you to check on Parkland, and Stoneman Douglas High School in Broward County. Very convinient located to Sawgrass Expressway, close to Boca and the beaches. Ones in the area, short drive to the beach will not be an issue. There you will be able to find very nice and safe place for yourself and your son. The zip code is 33076 if this will hep you more. A lot of families choose Parkland beacause of that same reason.

Another option is FAU High School. This is a lab school on the campus of FAU in Boca. How it works is that in 9th grade the students take all honors classes at the high school on campus and one or two college courses. From 10th grade on they are completely dual enrolled and attend all classes at FAU. This is a public school so all classes and books are free until they graduate but there is an annual fee of around $500 that covers FAU fees.They can even attend Summer classes for free. This option shaves off a lot of years of school as well as cost. http://fauhigh.fau.edu/
Please keep in mind that admission to these programs all have deadlines which are coming up soon.
I hope that you found this helpful
The high school would be Boca Raton Community which is highly rated at a 9 and 4 stars by great schools.org. One of my favorite sites when it comes to school ratings and if you have an iPhone check out their app which is also a fantastic tool. I love their site, use it often, and highly recommend it to my clients who are interested in finding the best schools for their children's education. GreatSchools profiles public, private and charter schools and has a great format for readers to leave comments. Besides their rating system the comment section is the best place to go to get real life feedback from children who attend the schools as well as their parents.
You might also want to check out the Florida Department of Education School accountability reports which are also a wealth of information and can be accessed with this link;
After doing your homework on-line I always recommend parents visit the school live and in person prior to making any purchasing decisions in that district and if you need assistance let me know as I would be happy to show you around.
