Hello Maria,
I'm sure that your excited about the prospect of selling your current home and purchasing a new one. The Coronado area as a lot of great listing ready for a new owner. As in any town you will find the good with the bad. I would recommend that you drive around the areas that interest you in all time frames to check out the activity during peek hours. You will learn a lot about a neighborhood that way. You can also visit the neighbors as they are out in their yards enjoying the evening. Neighbors are usually always interested in sharing. You can also check out http://www.felonspy.com/search.html to see if there are any concerns that the public is aware of. On a personal note my son lives in the Coronado area and likes is neighbors and has had no complaints. If I can be of service, please contact me at 806-777-1320. Where is your house that is for sale located? I would help anyway I can to get that property sold as well as work with the agent you are currently working with. Working together to make your relocation easy. Peace, Rose Donaldson

Hi Maria,
I'm sure that all the resources that the Realtors listed below will be a great source for exact information, and truth is that Lubbock as a whole is safe and friendly city in which to live. Some neighborhoods however are safer, more desirable and offer more amenities than others. I would encourage to visit the website for Lubbock's fastest growing neighborhood, Vintage Township at http://www.vintagetownship.com . Vintage Township is a wonderful neighborhood in Lubbock's newest upscale area in Southwest Lubbock with great amenities like a Home Owners Association, a neighborhood pool, numerous parks, playgrounds, planned neighborhood events and so much more. Its also just a short drive (about 18 minutes) to the Coronado High School area.

Please give me a call at 806.771.1117 and let me know if you would like to take a tour of Vintage. Thanks!

Maria:

Great question! The Coronoado High School attendance zone encompasses several square miles of neighbhorhoods. The most reliable source of crime statistics for Lubbock is the Lubbock police department, who can give you crime statistics for any neighborhood or area. Their number is (806) 775-2865.

By the way, you will want to do your homework on school districts as well. Feel free to call or email me; and, I will be happy to answer any questions you have about the Lubbock market and area schools.
