Cindy, as you can gather from the answers that have been given to you, we cannot give you an opinion of neighborhoods or schools etc.. This is a personal choice every home buyer makes and what may be "Good" for you may not be the same for someone else depending on what they are really looking for. We can direct you to resources that you can research.

One of the best ways to find out about an area is to drive around and see what suits you. Individuals have a preference for areas that make them feel 'at home', and if you are comfortable with the area you are referring to, then look at the school ratings and feel free to call the school and visit to get more information.

Hope you are working with a realtor who can guide you through the transaction process. Happy House Hunting!

Cindy,

Stafford is a great community just outside of Sugar Land in southwest Houston. A Realtor can discuss with you how current prices for homes are in the area, past trends, what type of homes, etc.

We, as Realtors, do not keep school information or demographics of any area. You can view sites like http://www.zipskinny.com to compare neighborhoods to where you live now by putting in zip codes. There are tons of school sites to review on-line, but the general Ft. Bend Schools are thought of as very good, but every specific school can be different and should be checked.

We don't want to sound like we are not answering your question, but have to be fair in our answers. Hope this helps. If your looking in an area, call us to start the process as we can help you.

It is illegal for us to discuss race in any area. We are also unable to give an opinion on whether a neighborhood or area is "good." School performance can often be indicative an area's desirability for many people. Below is a link to a great article on the performance of Texas schools along with a downloadable spreadsheet showing each schools ranking. You can search for the school you are trying to aquire information on, and you can get a good idea of the school's performance from there.
