Skyview is the high school for this property. I confirmed via Clark County GIS…

You can always apply for a boundary exception but before you do that, check out Skyview. It's also a wonderful high school.

You can request a boundary exception, but frankly there is no guarantee you will receive one. I have about 2 clients right now looking for homes in the Columbia river school district. The school is at max capacity and not all exceptions are approved. Having teens myself I understand how important it is at that age to keep then in their school district.....and if this is your goal my advice is to keeping for homes within that schools boundaries. It is always better to be safe than sorry after all. Not knowing what you are looking for it may take a little bit of time, but a good buyers agent will help you every step of the way.
Please call or email if you have any questions.....I am, as always, happy to.

The listing indicated the elementary school is Dwight D Eisenhower, which is a very short distance to Columbia River. There is not an exact address for the house, but based on the information provided, it is a very strong liklihood that the house would be in COLUMBIA RIVER's boundaries, YES

There are some great areas around here in Clark County. Camas schools are rated extremely high. And it's a beautiful area. Camas/Washougal area has alot of great opportunties and things to do. Close to Portland, nice trees, views, easy access and safe family environment.
If you check out my website you can pick the areas I have posted there and see some attractions that click. Check out
My favorite area. Camas and Washougal are right next to each other. The Camas link..

I'm relocating from Bellingham and will have my house on the market in a few days. I need to rent for awhile before I buy again so I can get a good feel for the area.

This is correct. You can check with them also if it is outside the lines, you may be able to get an adjustment. Call the school admin and see what they would require. Have you checked with a lender to see if you qualify to buy? There are some great zero down loans/programs that are available that may work for you. Seriously...It's always better than rent. And if you qualify, you can get in a house for less money than rent. Call me and I can forward you my lender on the team. You my be pleasantly surprised!

It is the closest school but it appears to be outside the boundary map, just wondering if there was a way to get my kids in the columbia river schools.

It is outside the boundary so your children would attend Skyview, which is also a wonderful school with excellent administration (I know a principal there) and a well developed AP program.

You can always try to get a boundary exception.
