Ken,
There are two very good elementary schools in Diamond Bar, One being Golden Springs and the other Pantera. I have lived in DB for 38 years, my children went to Golden Springs while it was rated #1 in the state of CA.

Check out GREATSCHOOL.NET . Its a great website that rates all the schools in an area.
You can see for yourself what the weak points are as well as their forte!
