Why are you having difficulty with "The Pledge of Allegiance" being recited in your school classrooms?

Asked by Carmelita Raney, California Mon Nov 17, 2008

I read where you are making children who want to say the Pledge of Allegiance go to a gym in order to say what should be an everyday occurrance in our schools. This idea of making "some children uncomfortable by the recitation of this important American document" is ridiculous. There is a great need to instill in the youth of today their allegiance to this country. We have seen and are still seeing the damage that has been done to our educational system by too much interference by the Government . It's time to stand up and fight for the American values that seem to be slowly being dying in this country. Stand up and be counted.....have all the children recite the Pledge every day. And make sure that "under God" is included. This country was founded on the belief that God was an intregal part of beginnings.....let's keep it that way.

I agree with your question 100% however, I don't know that anyone from the school district will actually read it. You might want to send an email to the school rather than posting it here.

Well said...... It is so sad we can not "The Pledge our Allegiance to our flag". But our childrens teachers are now forced to educate or instill household life styles like "mom and mom" or "dad and dad" into our children as early as first grade. What is wrong with people in this country. grrrr.. Just saying.....
