Based on test scores I would say
Woodstock- Booth
Kennesaw- Lost Mountain
I recommend researching the following sites: The Georgia report card http://www.gppf.org/default.asp?pt=doc&doc=reportcard
and the National center for educational statistics:
http://nces.ed.gov/
*Be careful what you select in the suburbs of Atlanta, schools are what drive property values.
As a parent myself, I also recommend that you visit the school so you feel comfortable with the administration at that particular school.

I found a easy site you may want to try to look up schools itshttp:// www.schooldigger.com. It will give you the rating of each county if you don't feel like reading test scores. Please let me know if I can assist you further. Look at atlantanewhomesdirectory.com they have a great section on local schools by city. Including test scores and private options as well.
