If you're looking to live near the water, there are lovely areas in Milford near the water, such as Woodmont, Fort Trumbull Beach, Gulf Beach, Laurel Beach, Morningside, Pond Point and others. In addition, Milford schools boast plenty of sports activities from elementary school through high school. Having lived in Milford for several years, I found it to be a wonderful city with plenty of activities for adults and children alike.
