Ferry street bridge and north gilham both go to Sheldon. Do not buy the open enrollment schtick because that is quickly changing in Eugene, so it does matter where you buy. Sheldon is a good school with a good athletic program.

You can live in Coburg as well and go to Sheldon High School. I know of several great homes in the lovely Ferry Street Bridge area as well as in Coburg that would fit you criteria -- they are all just a short drive to Sheldon and to downtown Eugene...
Please call me for a tour of the great homes I mentioned. Kit Sixel John L. Scott Real Estate 541-954-1915

Karen...

It is important to note that the 4J school district is Open to enrollment at all schools. It does not matter where you live in Eugene you can go where you want. You have to know how to make this work but it really will free up your choices alot. Sheldon has a short waiting list but I could advise you how to get around this.

I am the reporter here in Oregon for Rivals.com on top of my real job so I am well aware of Sheldon and the whole issue in Eugene. Great School in more ways than one!

Call me if I can be of help.

Hi Karen

The answer to your question is Ferry Street Bridge and North Gilliam neighborhoods. I am not sure but I think you might be able to live in a different neighborhood and have your daughter go to Sheldon. There are some older established neighborhoods in the Ferry Street Bridge area. Are you working with a real estate agent yet? If not please send your search criteria and we can do a home search for you and email you the listings. Or if you perfer please go to our website for more information. thank you for your question!

FIRST ANSWER

Hi Karen,

You may visit http://www.HouseNow.com which specifically serves Eugene where I am located.

We are connected to 3 mls's. RMLS serves Eugene and feeds the website every morning with new listings in the Eugene area. Our property details include disclosing the particular schools the property is served by. Your areas for Sheldon High School are the Ferry Street Bridge & Gilham neighborhoods, however consider that everthing offered in Eugene is pretty close to each other and you may try the lottery system such that your daughter can attend Sheldon while you all live in that desired, historic neighborhood like East or West Eugene.

I am here to help, have over 15 years of local real estate appraisal experience, a UofO grad myself, and not only help with real estate but with helping new residents learn Eugene. Please take a brief moment to visit:
http://www.HouseNow.com

Where you can search, save, and allow me to set up for you a buyer folder with your specific profile such that you receive autoemail alerts on a daily basis when new properties hit the market that fall within your search needs.

Here to help!

Best Regards,
