All are great answers. There are also some great private and Semi- private Country Club Communities that your children may or may not need a sponsor for to attend tennis, golf and swimming instructions that are very near LN. As well as YMCA not far away.

Say just thought of the Mote marine summer camps and various church camps that are available. The opportuniites are endless and depending on where you end (Which I think is most importatnt if you have children) the community may have a fabulous pool with many a chance, to meet a new friend.

There are a wide variety of summer activities for area children. We suggest Googling "Sarasota summer children programs." This will provide you with information on some of the possibilities.

The YMCA offers a number of programs ranging from aquatics to sports camps. Sarasota Orchestra has children's programs as does Selby Gardens, and The Ritz -Carlton.

One of the best camps in the summer time in the Osprey/Nokomis area is camp at Spanish Point. The kids go fishing, dig for artifacts and make dream catchers, etc. My kids went for several years and loved it.
