Doylestown is a great place to live. There are museums, parks, fine restaurants and shopping. There is Septa train station from where you can take the train to Philadelphia and International airport. You can take a bus from Doylestown to New York. There is always something fun to do in Doylestown .
There are homes in all price ranges. The best thing is to come over for a weekend and I will be glad to show you the different communities. The best way is to see for your self. You can look up listings on my web site or call me so I can email you listings based on your preferences and price range. I live and work in central bucks. If you would like information about the school go to
You can also choose to live in the boro where you can walk to shops and restaurants .

I have lived in the area and raised 4 sons and I can say this from a resident of Buckingham, we really love the area as it provides everything for us. I have also traveled to Long Island and know the area fairly well. My relatives lived in North Port.
The schools here are Blue Ribbon and I would suggest that you look on School Digger or some other sites to compare for yourself. The area is close to New Jersey and Philadelphia and has plenty of shopping, dining and entertainment.
I specialize in this area and would be more than happy to assist you. I was ranked 14th in all of Bucks County in 2011 and have been one of the top 3 agents in our 19 office Franchise for the past 5 years. Please go to my website or Linked In for references.

Good luck in your search!

You can't go wrong with the general Doylestown area to raise your young family. I also suggest checking out Newtown or Yardley in Bucks County. All are great communities for families, with walkable downtowns, etc.

You can set up a reoccuring search for properties that fit your needs on my website, it will auto alert you when new things come on the market too! The website is

I'd love to help in your search. I am a lifelong Bucks County resident myself.

Doylestown is a great town to live in and raise chrildren but somtimes home in the town are alittle more expensive due to their location. Any of the surrounding towns are also just as great. Doylestown is a terrific area to raise a family! Of course recommending neighborhoods depends on your price range, whether you like older homes or newer developments, if you want to be in walking distance of schools, etc. I'd be happy to spend a day with you, showing you around, checking out neighborhoods and viewing some suitable homes. Give me a call at (215) 570-4443!

Hi Home Buyer,
I love the Doylestown area and the closer to the Boro the more there is to take advaantage of. The Central Bucks Schools are all excellent but theBoro and Central Park are some of the areas that offer lots for families to take advantage of. If you are looking for a buyer's agent to help you look at different neighborhoods in Doylestown I would be happy to help. The best place to reach me is 267-446-3530.

Hello Jfkuebs,

Doylestown is a beautiful town. Your first decision would probably be do you want to live in the borough or not. In the borough you are in the town centre and can walk to all of the conveniences for the most part. Some people love being in the borough but my guess is that more are without children than with them. As for the surrounding neighborhoods.....take your pick, there are lots of great areas and all of the schools are comparable. I can recommend some good realtors that have young children if you like.
