Hi Jeannie and Jason, we are "transplants" also.from Maryland. I was a school nurse there for 16 years, so I understand your concern and we can help you find a great neighborhood/school district. We also have grandchildren in the school system here in Simpsonville, so we know how you would want to learn as much about the area as possible. Give us a call, 864-704-0046, and we can start sending you some listings to preview. Good luck and we are ready to help you find a great home! Marge and Ed Schueler

My info is linked below if you would like professional assistance. I would be glad to email you some listings so that you can familiarize yourself with the Greenville Market.

Thanks,

I have elementary school children myself and many of the Greenville county schools are award winning. We have charter schools, private schools and schools tht focus on learning with a specialty focus (engineering, language, arts, etc)

If you find an area you like, be sure to put your address into the Greenville county schools website and you will find out what schools you are zoned for.

This is a great area for kids-there's so much to do. Let me know if I can help you any further.

Good luck!

Thank you. It is so, very hard to move often and now that we are settling down it's scary. Lol. We have seen a few homes that we like, but just not sure how the neighborhoods and schools are. Nobska Light Ct, Simpsonville SC, Armor Ct, Simpsonville SC and a few homes in Greenville as well have caught our attention. We have never been to SC so, we are not sure which towns are best. I'm from west Texas originally and my husband from Tennessee so, any information is very helpful. Thank you so very much!

Hey Jason and Jeannie....congrats on your move to the area :) Simpsonville continues to be one of the most sought after areas in Greenville. You can get some good school information at GreatSchools.net. Let me know if there is any specific information that you need and I will do what i can to get you those answers.

Not sure exactly what kind of home you are looking for, but if a house that needs a little work or a fixer upper interests you at all, I would love to spend some time talking with you about those. They are obviously not for everyone but for those looking to customize their home a bit and dont mind doing a bit of cleaning and/or painting, they offer tremendous value.

Thanks again for your question...I hope to hear from you soon.
