Dear Linda,

Both schools have excellent ratings. If you want ratings and test scores go to these two web sites for further information, this will at least give you detailed information on the schools and information on the area.

If you need further information please feel free to email or call direct. I live in Dublin and know the areas very well.

Dear Linda,
Dublin schools are excellent. I speak from experience with my own family. Both of my children attended Dublin Schools. Graduated from Dublin Coffman and went on to Universities. My family and I have been residents of Dublin for the past 30 yrs. If you want more information please feel free to contact me.

Sincerely yours,

Nancy Davis

http://www.greatschools.org, you can get to it from my website.

Dublin, Upper Arlington, Bexley, Olentangy, New Albany, all excellent schools. Hilliard is a good system, but not as good as those mentioned, according to ratings.

I know a lot about the schools around here. I can tell you much information about that and more. FYI, I'm a buyer's broker and I work with a lot of relocation buyers. Hopefully you are considering a buyer's broker.

I understand your desire to know about the school system. Ohio law prevents Realtors from offering an opinion on schools...how good/bad they are :)

May I suggest that you visit this website: http://www.schoolreports.org. I think you'll receive some great information that will allow you to evaluate the performance of our local schools based upon the best set of criteria: your own!!

I would love to be of assistance to you in finding & acquiring your new home. Let me know if I can help you....I know Dublin and Hilliard market very well! I would also recommend that you consider Powell as well :)

Thanks for the feedback, Lee :) I have checked that website, but there's nothing like first-hand accounts. We are looking in Powell as well. I had just noticed that parts of Dublin are in the Hilliard district as well.
Right now we're in the infancy of our move. We will be working with a relocation company for the move. I don't know if you get involved with that, but if you do, I can certainly pass your name along to them as someone we would like to work with.

I just checked rankings and Dublin was # 1 in Columbus area based on Ohio Board of Education rankings . I am an interior designer with lots of clients in Dublin and they all love it there and would never move. Hilliard is okay...but nothing like Dublin in the rankings. The best school systems are Dublin, Upper Arlinton, Grandview Heights, New Albany and Bexley. After that, there are good districts like Hilliard, Westerville, Worthington, but nothing like the top four. Needless to say, these are the more exclusive areas in town (with higher taxes to go along with it) I also have presented a program on teen dating abuse that I am involved with in the Dublin schools and they are very nice, and you get a real feel of professionalism from the teachers and well behaved students. Trust me, I can't say that for all of them. Dublin has some gorgeous areas and there are many amazing homes. You will most likely love it (as many people from new York who move here do) Powell is right next to Dublin, and that area is really great too in terms of the school system from what I have heard. It's a different county (Delaware) so I don't know much except very prosperous area.

Thanks for the feedback, Lauraein :) Good to know there's many districts to choose from. What is the name of your decorating company?
