The Triangle area is so lucky to have so many wonderful colleges and universities in its vicinity. Raleigh is home to North Carolina State University, Shaw University, Peace College, and other schools. Chapel Hill is where University of North Carolina/Chapel Hill is located and Durham is home to Duke University. Not only are these great places to attend college, they also offer plenty of cultural experiences and great hospitals and excellent health care options. Please feel free to call or email for more information. I am happy to help! 919-710-2668 or

One of the nice things about the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area is that you can't spit without hitting a college or university!

The big ones are NC State here in Raleigh, UNC in Chapel Hill, and Duke in Durham.

There are also several smaller schools such as William Peace University, Meredith College, St. Augustine University, as well as Wake Technical Community College. Durham also has North Carolina Central University; a traditionally African American educational institution.

All in all, there are about 29 colleges or universities within a 50 mile radius of Raleigh.

If you are planning on attending a public university, you might want to know that North Carolina has a one year residency in order to qualify for in-state tuition.

Hope that this helps!

There are many to choose from. Vo tech, community, colleges and universities. Public and private. The college you choose will be dependent on your field of study and financial needs.

We have several fantastic local colleges depending on what you're looking for. What do you or your student plan to study? Is this 2 year, 4 year, or other? Do you want public or private collages?

I would be happy to help but would need more information. Do you want info on community colleges, 4 year colleges and what information would you like? If you will contact me directly, we can discuss in more detail. I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you.
