Traci Scilin…, Home Buyer in Highland Lakes, NJ

My son is classified with ADHD. Are the schools able to handle this? If any parents have a child with these needs, what are your opinions?

Saginaw ISD has programs for children with this disability. Are you looking for a public school district or private? What grade is your child in? I want to make certain if you are interested in a public school system that your child will have access to this program through out his/her school years. I have home buyers that put their child in Saginaw ISD (North Fort Worth) and are very pleased with the progress their children have made there. Please contact me at lpuniwai@ziprealty.com for more information.

And, to ultimately answer your question, yes. Texas schools, most of them anyway, are equipped and trained and educated and have programs available for handling a host of needs for students and parents. What area of Texas are you considering?

There are some education sites and forums where you can discuss and converse with other parents about any topic you desire. Maybe try some of these sites:

http://deleon.tea.state.tx.us/SDL/Forms/

I'm hopeful you find a school you feel comfortable with.
