Is it possible to provide kids with a good education in NYC without having to earn an enormous salary?
Seems that the public schools aren't so great, so one must need to be very wealthy to make sure your kids receive a good education (via private schooling)

ABSOLUTELY! Some of our high schools are very highly respected, and very difficult to get into. Stuyvesant, Bronx Science, several others, and we also have satellite schools or career specific schools for the arts, computer science etc. The only limit to get into these schools is your childs ability to test, and letters of recommendation, interview skills, grades etc. With a city this size competition is fierce.
