If we were to live at 7 Woodbine Way, Stamford CT 06903, the closest schools are in New Canaan, so would that be where my kids would go?

Hello Carrie

Residents of 7 Woodbine Way would be required to attend Stamford schools.

The exception are interdistrict schools - these attract students from neighboring towns as well. For example, the Rogers International School in Stamford allows students from surrounding towns as well.

Good luck Carrie, feel free to contact me anytime to discuss.

Hi Carrie,
Yes as others have stated; you must live in New Canaan in order to attend their schools. Most municipalities only allow their residents to attend their town's public schools unless it may be some type of state magnet school.

Best wishes!

Hello Carrie,

Even though the closest school to you would be New Canaan, you would be in the Stamford School District.

For that road, Davenport Ridge School is the elementary school, Rippowam is middle school and Westhill High would be the high school.

I have attached the link to the Stamford board of education and you can insert the street name to find out the correct school district.

If you need anymore help, please let me know.
Thank you,

Better to go to New Canaan schools where they will have better chances to succeed. The administration at the stamford middle school, Cloonan would not be a good place for a child to go.

Hello Carrie,
Unfortunately, that is not how it works. There are two ways to get into New Canaan schools. One is to live in New Canaan and two is to pay for a New Canaan private school. New Canaan public schools are for New Canaan residents only.
If you have any further questions or you would like to view any houses please do not hesitate to contact me.

No! The schools are distracted by town. Since Woodbine Way is in Stamford your kids would go to Stamford schools. If you would like an inside view in to the Stamford Public Schools go to http://www.Stamfordpublicschools.org/videos.

No, that school is in a different town. According to the Stamford Board of Education these are the schools for that address:

Elementary School: DAVENPORT RIDGE

Middle School: RIPPOWAM MIDDLE SCHOOL

High School: WESTHILL HIGH SCHOOL
